How to control Word Slide

How to play

You have a limited move budget per level; run out and the run ends.

Clear all 8 levels to win. Spare moves convert to bonus points.
Tips for a better run
Columns are the power tool: one column slide rearranges five rows at once, which row slides can never do.
Mentally undo the scramble: the puzzle was made with 3-10 slides, so the solution is always that short or shorter.
Do not burn moves testing directions - a row slid the wrong way costs two moves to fix (one back, plus the wasted one).
Watch the right-hand target list: green rows are locked in, so stop touching them.
Clearing with moves to spare pays 60 points per spare move, so the cheapest solution is the highest score.

Is Word Slide a copy of an existing sliding word game?
No. Word Slide takes only the general sliding-tile puzzle idea (slide whole rows and columns to rearrange letters) as inspiration. The 40 six-letter word sets, the scramble budgets, the scoring, the canvas art and the WebAudio sounds are all original work created for this game.
How do I move the letters?
Swipe horizontally on a letter tile to slide its whole row left or right, or swipe vertically to slide its column up or down. You can also tap a tile to select it and then use the arrow keys: Left/Right slide the row, Up/Down slide the column.
