Tips for a better run
Do not snap at the first animal you see if it is at the frame edge — wait a beat for it to drift toward the center for a PERFECT shot.
Golden eagles are worth triple a rabbit, so break your rhythm for one, even at GOOD quality.
An empty snap costs a film: if no animal is inside the frame, hold your shot.
Animals drift and bounce, so lead a fast fox slightly in its direction of travel.
Your streak bonus grows with consecutive hits and resets on a miss — protect a long streak instead of gambling on a far animal.

It depends on how centered the animal is in your frame: within 32 pixels is PERFECT and worth full points, within 64 is GOOD at 60%, and within 100 is OK at 30%. A snap with no animal in the frame wastes one of your 3 films.

Golden eagles are rare, fast, and worth 300 base points — but they vanish after only 1.8 seconds, so snap them quickly.
