Carve down Powderline Ridge through 20 alternating blue and red gates. Thread each pair of poles cleanly, or eat a +1.5s penalty and a red flash.
Speed builds the longer you stay on line; drifting into the deep snow at the course edges drags you down.
Beat the 28-second par - miss more than 5 gates and the run is a DNF.

Tips for a better run
Start carving early: the skier needs room to swing across to the next gate, so begin your turn as you cross the current gate line.
Stay out of the powder at the course edges - deep snow cuts your speed hard.
Small, rhythmic turns beat wild swings; the gate centers are marked, aim for the middle of each pair.
Speed keeps building, so the last gates need earlier, sharper turns than the first ones.
