Key Escape is a fast typing arcade game: Pip, a green key-slime, is stuck at the bottom of a deep keyboard pit.
Every rung of the pit shows a glowing word — type it correctly and Pip climbs one step closer to daylight.
Words get longer the higher you climb, from 3-letter hops near the floor to 10-letter sprints near the rim.

Tips for a better run
Look ahead: read the whole word before you start typing — chunking letters into syllables is faster than letter-by-letter hunting.
A word typed with zero misses builds your combo; one sloppy word resets it. Slow down slightly on 8+ letter words.
Three misses on the same word wipes your progress on it — recover calmly instead of mashing.
The on-screen keyboard flashes the key you just hit; on touch screens, rest your thumbs on the home row (ASDF / JKL).
Fast completions bank time: every second left on the clock is worth 10 bonus points.
