Play Homer Hitter online
Homer Hitter is an original baseball batting timing arcade: you face 10 pitches from rival pitcher Rex under the night lights, and every swing is judged to the millisecond.
Fastballs scream in at 95mph, curveballs dip late, changeups float in slow - the pitch type stays hidden until after the throw, so you read speed and break, not a label.
A perfect swing launches a 420-480 foot home run, good contact still clears 180-320 feet, and three strikes - foul, miss, or called - end the night. Total 1,200 feet across 10 pitches to win.

Tips for a better run
Watch the ball, not the pitcher: the release flash tells you the pitch is coming, but only the ball's speed tells you when to swing.
Curveballs dip late - wait a beat longer than a fastball, or you will swing over the top of it.
A good hit is worth banking: three solid 250-foot hits beat one home run plus two strikeouts.
Do not swing at everything: a called strike hurts, but a panicked early swing is a guaranteed miss.
Fouls count as strikes, so with two strikes, choke up and just make contact - any fair ball keeps the at-bat alive.
Frequently asked questions
When exactly should I swing?
Press SPACE or click / tap the field the instant the ball reaches the plate - the white flash ring shows the contact zone. Perfect timing is within 45 milliseconds of the ideal moment; good hits allow up to 100 milliseconds.
How do I tell the pitches apart?
Fastballs arrive in about 400ms, curveballs in about 480ms and dip sharply, changeups in about 540ms. The pitch type is hidden until after the pitch, so watch the ball's speed and break, not a label.
Does a foul ball count as a strike?
A foul ball counts as a strike, same as a swing-and-miss or a called strike (letting a good pitch sail past). Three strikes end the game, so make contact - even a foul keeps you alive only until the third one.
How do I win?
Reach 1,200 total feet across your 10 pitches. Home runs fly 420-480 feet, good hits 180-320 feet, so a mix of solid contact wins the night - you do not need a home run on every pitch.
