Play Brick Breaker online
Brick Breaker is a breakout arcade game: bounce the ball off your paddle to smash every brick on the wall.
The ball's rebound angle depends on where it strikes the paddle, so you steer each shot by positioning the paddle.
Three levels with tougher bricks: plain bricks break in one hit, striped bricks take two, and steel bricks take three.
You have 3 balls. Lose a ball when it slips past the paddle; clear all three levels to win.
How to control Brick Breaker

Tips for a better run
Aim with the paddle, not luck: an edge hit sends the ball at up to 60 degrees, which is how you reach bricks tucked behind the front rows.
Keep the ball moving between the top rows and the wall when you can — every bounce up there is a free hit on bricks.
When the ball drops fast toward a corner, do not chase it to the edge and overrun; stop the paddle early and let the ball come to you.
Steel bricks take three hits, so soften them while the ball is fast and save careful aiming for the last hit.
Your best score is saved in your browser, so a clean run with no lost balls beats a wild high-scoring one.
Frequently asked questions
How do I play?
Move the paddle with the mouse, touch, or Arrow keys / A and D. Press Space or click to launch the ball. The ball bounces off the paddle at an angle set by where it strikes the paddle, so aim your paddle to steer the ball toward the bricks you want to break.
How do I aim the ball?
Hit the paddle slightly off-center: a hit near the paddle's edge sends the ball out at a steep angle, while a center hit sends it nearly straight up. Use steep angles to reach bricks behind the front rows and to clear corners.
Is Brick Breaker a copy of another game?
No. Brick Breaker is fully original: the breakout rules, the three level layouts, and all code, art, and audio are original works. It takes the general breakout arcade genre as inspiration but references no existing games, films, or franchises.
