⚔️ Combat Summary

  • Hoxxes IV is an unpredictable killer. Expect the unexpected and never drop your guard.
  • Survival hinges on quick thinking, effective Crowd Control, and focused Single Target elimination.
  • Every Miner must understand their role, leverage their gear, and adapt tactical approaches on the fly.

The caves of Hoxxes IV leave their mark, not always visible, but felt deep. Management won’t hold your hand. These scars are lessons learned the hard way. Staying alive means being ready for any Glyphid monstrosity or environmental hazard the planet throws at you.

Assess every situation immediately. Prioritize targets. Swarms require heavy Crowd Control from the Gunner’s sustained fire or the Driller’s area denial tools. High-priority targets, like Praetorians or Oppressors, demand focused Single Target damage and Armor Breaking, often a task for the Engineer’s precise firepower or the Scout’s critical shots.

Effective team composition is non-negotiable. A Scout provides critical illumination and high mobility for quick revives or Nitra retrieval. An Engineer creates defensive positions and choke points. The Gunner holds the line with suppressive fire. The Driller reshapes the battlefield to the team’s advantage, creating escape routes or flanking tunnels.

Conserve Nitra. Resupplies are your lifeline. Call for one before you’re desperate, not when you’re already down to your pickaxe. Trust your fellow Dwarves. Communication keeps the team alive. Failure to adapt or communicate will get you left behind.

Stay sharp, Miners. There’s always another scar waiting to be earned.
