⚔️ Combat Summary

Management is launching Rogue Core as a spin-off, not a sequel. Deep Rock Galactic operations will continue with dedicated support. Expect temporary shifts in team deployments, but overall mission availability should stabilize.

Rogue Core: Operational Intel

Listen up, Greenbeards. There’s chatter about Rogue Core, and Management’s comms are predictably unclear. Here’s the rundown, straight from the source.

Rogue Core is not Deep Rock Galactic 2. It’s a parallel operation, a spin-off. Think of it as a different sector on Hoxxes IV, operating concurrently. Don’t expect a direct narrative continuation.

Deep Rock Galactic isn’t being mothballed. Management has brought in another outfit, Invisible Walls, specifically to keep the content pipeline flowing for our current expeditions. Ghost Ship Games, the original crew, is focused on Rogue Core. This means new seasons and updates for DRG are still on the manifest.

Now, about team numbers. When Rogue Core drops, expect some of the greener Dwarves to jump ship for a look. This might thin out the Drop Pod queues for a bit. It’s a different kind of fight: DRG is a horde shooter, focused on mining and extraction; Rogue Core is a roguelite, about clearing facilities. Not every Miner will stick with the new grind. The consensus is a temporary dip, then stabilization. There will be reasons to run missions in both.

Don’t let Management’s new toys distract you. Our work on Hoxxes IV continues. Stay sharp.
