Play Stamp Duty online
Stamp Duty is a document-inspection arcade game. You are Pip, the rookie clerk at the Tumblewick Border Post, and every traveler who walks up to your booth hands over three documents: a passport, a visa and a ticket.
Your job is to check each document against the daily rule board. Approve the clean travelers, deny anyone breaking a rule. Three strikes and you are fired; survive all five days and your stamp stays yours.
New rules get pinned to the board every day - from simple expiry checks to banned hometowns, contraband pickle jars, and a wanted poster for the notorious Baron von Crumb.
How to control Stamp Duty
- Approve: A key or click the APPROVE button
- Deny: D key or click the DENY button
- Advance dialogs: Space or click
- Mute: M
- Restart: R (on the game over screen)
How to play

A traveler presents a passport, a visa and a ticket. Read every field and compare it against today's rule board.

Press APPROVE for clean paperwork, DENY for anyone breaking a rule. Correct calls earn coins plus a streak bonus.
- 3
Three wrong calls and you're fired. Clear all 5 days - with new rules added daily - to complete your shift.
Tips for a better run
Read the rule board first every day - new rules are the ones that catch rookies out.
Always compare the name across all three documents; forgers change one letter and hope you skim.
Expiry is counted in days: a document expiring on Day 3 is still valid on Day 3, but dead on Day 4.
Luggage and purpose are on the ticket, not the passport - check the whole card.
A long correct streak pays up to double coins per call; slow down rather than gamble the streak.
