Plants show a droplet icon once they are thirsty. Spray a thirsty plant for 100 points — 150 if it is parched — and chain waterings within 3 seconds for a streak bonus up to +100.
A golden sunflower sometimes sprouts: water it while thirsty for 300 points. But every spray costs 1 unit from your 8-unit tank, which refills slowly, so spraying plants that are not thirsty wastes the water you need.
Let a plant's thirst hit 100 and it wilts, costing one of 3 lives. Reach 2000 points in 90 seconds to win.

Only spray thirsty plants — a spray on a happy plant scores nothing and still drains your tank.
Watch the deep-red parched plants first: they are worth 150 and closest to wilting.
Keep the streak alive: a thirsty watering every few seconds adds up to +100 per spray.
Golden sunflowers are worth 300 when thirsty — prioritise them over ordinary plants.
Your tank refills 1 unit every 1.5 seconds, so pace your sprays instead of dumping the whole tank at once.
