Play Orbit Sling online
Orbit Sling is a gravity-slingshot puzzle. You are Nova, a probe pilot launching from a deep-space pad.
Drag back like a slingshot and release to fling your probe across the system. Planets bend your path with real gravity — skim one for a slingshot boost, or curve around it to reach a beacon a straight shot could never hit.
Six hand-built systems, three shots per level, and a beacon at the end of each one. Clear all six systems to bring Nova home.
How to control Orbit Sling
- Aim: drag back from the launch pad with mouse / touch, release to launch
- Keyboard aim: Arrow keys adjust angle and power, Space / Enter to launch
- Start / restart: Space, Enter, or tap
- Mute: M
How to play
- 1
Drag back from the launch pad to aim — the probe flies opposite to your drag.
- 2
Release to launch. Planets pull the probe with gravity and bend its path.
- 3
Fly into the glowing beacon ring to clear the level.
- 4
You have 3 shots per level: a crash, a fly-off, or a 15-second drift costs one shot.
- 5
Clear all 6 systems to win. Losing all 3 shots on a level ends the run.
Tips for a better run
Aim with the drag line, not the probe: the launch arrow shows exactly where the first stretch of flight will go.
A close pass bends more than a distant one. If a straight shot misses, try skimming the planet's edge.
Too much speed flies past the beacon before gravity can bend you; too little falls into the planet. Middle power wins most levels.
Watch the beacon ring: entering anywhere inside it counts, so a grazing pass is enough.
First-shot clears pay triple a third-shot clear. Spend one careful aim rather than three rushed ones.
