Play Laser Lab online
Laser Lab is an original mirror-routing puzzler: flip / and \ mirrors to bend laser beams onto every target receiver.
8 hand-designed grids grow from 3 mirrors to 10, with walls that swallow beams and multi-beam layouts.
Each grid has a rotation budget - overspend and you lose a fuse; 3 lost fuses ends the run.
Finishing under budget banks bonus points, and your best campaign score is saved in the browser.
How to control Laser Lab
- Flip mirror: click/tap a mirror
- Move cursor: arrow keys
- Flip at cursor: Space
- Reset level: R
- Mute: M

Tips for a better run
Trace each beam in your head before flipping: follow it cell by cell and watch where it turns.
A mirror you never need is a decoy - the budget counts flips, not mirrors, so plan the whole path first.
Walls eat beams: route around the dark blocks instead of trying to shoot through them.
One flip can fix two beams at once when paths cross - look for shared mirrors.
Your first clear is a scouting run: replay to beat your best score with fewer rotations.
Frequently asked questions
Is Laser Lab a copy of an existing laser puzzle game?
No. Laser Lab takes only the general idea of routing beams with mirrors as inspiration. The 8 hand-designed laser grids, the rotation-budget and fuse rules, the canvas art and the WebAudio sounds are all original work created for this game.
How do I rotate the mirrors?
Click or tap any mirror to flip it between / and \. Each flip costs one rotation from that level's budget. Keyboard: move the cursor with the arrow keys, Space flips, R resets the level.
How do I win?
Light every target receiver on all 8 grids. If you spend more rotations than a grid's budget, you lose one of 3 fuses and the grid resets. Lose all 3 fuses and the run ends.
