Hex Hop is an original pond-hopping puzzle: guide Milo the moss frog across sinking hex stones, collect every golden star, and reach the green exit.
Every stone you leave sinks forever, so each level is a route-planning puzzle — a tempting shortcut can strand you on a stone with nowhere left to hop. Six levels grow from a gentle tutorial to a finale with three stars and a decoy shortcut.

How to play

Press START — Milo the moss frog appears on the first pond stone.

Click or tap a glowing neighboring hex (or use W/E/D/X/Z/A and Arrow keys) to hop. The stone you leave sinks forever.

Collect every golden star on the level, then hop onto the green exit hex. A locked exit will not let you in until all stars are collected.

Clear all 6 levels within 300 seconds to win. Getting stranded costs a life and restarts the level; 3 strandings ends the run. Your fastest winning time is saved in your browser.
Tips for a better run
Plan backwards from the exit: the last hop before the exit must leave you with a star already collected, not a locked door.
Grab stars on the way, never as an afterthought — a star behind a sunk stone is lost for that attempt.
Beware decoy shortcuts: a stone that only leads to the exit will strand you if you hop there before collecting every star.
Count your exits before you hop: if a stone has only one live neighbor left, make sure it is the one you want.
On later levels, clear side branches first and keep the main path open for the final run to the exit.

Why can't I step onto the exit yet?
Golden stars must all be collected before the green exit hex unlocks. Stepping onto a locked exit does nothing, so plan your route to grab every star first.
What happens when I get stranded?
If every neighboring hex is sunk, missing, or locked, you are stranded. That costs one of your 3 lives and restarts the current level.
How many levels are there, and how much time do I get?
Six hand-built levels, from a 5-hex tutorial to a 9-hex finale with three stars and a decoy shortcut. You have 300 seconds for the whole run.
