Tips for a better run
Flip early: the bot takes about half a second to cross between surfaces, so flip before the spike, not at it.
Stars hug the floor or ceiling — run along their surface to collect them, and only detour when the lane is clear.
After a spike hit you get a brief moment of invulnerability; use it to escape a cluster, not to plough through more spikes.
