Play Coil Clash online
Coil Clash is a snake duel: you and a CPU rival serpent share one arena, racing to 250 points.
Eat green orbs to grow and score, snatch golden stars for 50, and force mistakes — each snake has 3 lives.
Ram the rival's body to survive the scramble, but never trade heads: head-on collisions destroy both.
How to control Coil Clash
- Steer: Arrow keys or WASD
- Steer (touch): swipe in a direction
- Space / Enter: start or restart
- P: pause
- M: mute
- R: restart
How to play
- 1
Your cyan snake moves continuously — steer with arrows/WASD or swipe.
- 2
Eat green orbs: +10 points and +1 length. Golden stars are worth 50 and grow you twice.
- 3
Hitting a wall, yourself, or any body segment costs a life. Both snakes start with 3 lives.
- 4
Ramming the rival's head destroys both snakes; making the rival crash into your body scores you +30.
- 5
First to 250 points wins, or eliminate all 3 of the rival's lives. If time runs out, the higher score wins (ties go to you).
Tips for a better run
Cut across the arena to steal orbs the rival is lining up — your slightly faster tick rate rewards aggression.
After a respawn you get 2 seconds of ghost time: use it to reposition through danger, not to hide.
Watch the rival's head when it lines up behind you — a sharp turn into its path forces it to swerve or die.
Frequently asked questions
What is Coil Clash?
Two snakes — you (cyan) and a CPU rival (red) — share one 24x24 arena. Eat green orbs to grow and score, dodge walls and bodies, and try to be the first to 250 points. Each snake has 3 lives; wiping out the rival also wins.
How do I play?
Arrow keys or WASD to steer, swipe on touch screens. Your snake keeps moving — plan turns early. Grab golden stars for 50 points, and don't ram the rival head-on: head collisions destroy both snakes.
How is my best score saved?
Your highest score is saved in your browser and shown on the menu screen.
Is Coil Clash a copy of an existing snake game?
No. The snake-vs-snake arena duel is an original design: the rival AI, scoring (orbs, golden stars, elimination bonus), lives system, and all art and audio were created for this game.
