Field Observations: Mitigating Common Miner Errors

Analysis of common operational missteps reveals critical vulnerabilities in squad efficiency. Proactive measures in positioning, resource management, and demolition discipline are paramount for mission success on Hoxxes IV.

⚔️ Combat Summary

Management expects results, not scenic routes. Excessive, uncoordinated Tunneling by a Driller is a waste of fuel and valuable mission time. Efficient Pathfinding prioritizes direct routes to objectives or choke points, not grand tours of Hoxxes IV. Conserve resources. Get to the damn objective.

A Driller’s C4 is for clearing swarms and terrain, not for ‘motivating’ your teammates. Casual deployment without verifying clear lines of sight or allied positions is a critical failure in Demolition protocol. The resulting Friendly Fire isn’t funny; it’s a liability that drains our medbay resources and shatters Team Cohesion. Aim at the bugs, not your brothers.

Scout, your grappling hook is for mobility, not for becoming a lone wolf on a cliff face. When a Scout positions themselves too far from the main group, they sever vital Team Cohesion and become a priority target for aerial threats. While Resource Gathering is your primary secondary role, effective Positioning means being close enough to provide light, draw aggro, and execute revives. Stay within reasonable support range, or you’re just fresh bait for a Mactera.

🗣️ Miner’s Chatter

Management’s ‘safety guidelines’ are a joke, but these basic fuck-ups are no laughing matter down in the dark. Experienced Drillers confirm the pain of watching greenhorns waste fuel or blow up their own team. Scouts need to learn that their primary weapon is light and mobility for the team, not just for themselves. Stick together, learn your roles, and stop being a hazard. Rock and Stone!
