Dotty, that clunky piece of Management’s scrap, is more than just a glorified drill rig. She’s the lifeline for those Escort Duty operations on Hoxxes IV, punching through rock like a mad Glyphid. Too many greenhorns forget she’s got a health bar just like any Dwarf.
Protecting Dotty isn’t a suggestion, it’s a goddamn mandate. She needs repairs, she takes damage. On Hazard Level 5, the Swarms will target her. Engineers need to lay down Turrets and platform defenses. Gunners need to clear paths and provide Crowd Control and Single Target damage on anything threatening her directly. Drillers can tunnel escape routes or defensive positions. Scouts, light up threats and clear priority targets.
Management might see her as expendable, a pile of Nitra and wiring. But a good Dwarf knows Dotty always comes home. She’s earned her stripes, pulling our asses out of more tight spots than I care to count. Keep her shield up, keep her patched, and she’ll get us to the Ommoran Heartstone every damn time.
