Deep Dive Mineral Sourcing: Huuli Hoarder Protocols

Huuli Hoarders are the primary source of unexpected regional minerals during Deep Dives, capable of spawning in any biome. Engage these creatures to secure additional resources, even if they escape after initial damage.

⚔️ Combat Summary

Management’s intel on Deep Dives often overlooks critical details, leaving us Miners to piece together the truth. One persistent misconception is the absence of Regional Minerals in these extended operations. This is flat-out wrong, and it’s time to set the record straight.

The primary vector for unexpected Regional Minerals during a Deep Dive is the Huuli Hoarder. These oversized, cowardly bastards can and do spawn across any biome within a Deep Dive mission. When eliminated, a Huuli Hoarder will drop a substantial amount of the biome’s indigenous mineral, alongside regular gold and Nitra.

Effective Enemy Engagement with a Huuli Hoarder is crucial for Mineral Acquisition. While these creatures are designed to flee, a concentrated assault from the Team will secure the full payout. Don’t chase them across the entire cave if it compromises the primary Mission Strategy or exposes the team to unnecessary risk. However, be aware that even if a Huuli Hoarder escapes your clutches after taking some damage, it will leave a trail of minerals along its escape path. Scavenge these leavings; every bit counts for Resource Management back at the rig.

This isn’t just about Bismor; it applies to all biome-specific minerals. Stay sharp, identify these walking mineral deposits, and harvest them for Deep Rock Galactic. We work harder, and smarter, than Management gives us credit for.

🗣️ Miner’s Chatter

The CommNet lit up with various takes on these unexpected mineral finds. Some greenbeards, still lost in the void, chanted about Bismor being “eternal” and “sacred” – foolishness. The more grizzled Dwarves cut through the noise: Huuli Hoarders are confirmed spawns in Deep Dives. They carry whatever Regional Minerals are native to that specific biome. Take ‘em down, or at least wound ‘em, and you’ll find your pockets heavier. Simple as that.
